30-Field trip, USAF Band at DAR Constitution Hall (Concert and Cadet Band)

December
8- All-District Band Auditions, Stonewall HS*
11-Band Concert for ALL ensembles, 7:00 PM
TBA, possible concerts at feeder Elementary Schools (8th grade students during the school day)

February
1-2-All-District Band (for those selected in Dec.), Hylton HS*
19- All-Co. Band Auditions, Parkside MS*
21- All Co. Snow Date Auditions, Parkside MS*
20- Required after school joint rehearsal for 7th (Intermediate) and 8th grade students (until 4:30 PM)
27 - Required after school joint rehearsal for 7th (Intermediate) and 8th grade students (until 4:30 PM)
TBA- Pre-festival performance

March
5 -Required after school joint rehearsal for 7th and 8th grade students (until 4:30 PM)
6-8-Band Festival (required for all 7th and 8th grade students). To perform on one of the designated dates which will be assigned at a later date. This is the music version of the state Standard of Learning (SOL). Woodbridge SHS, TBA
10- Music in Our Schools Assembly -8th grade Band/Chorus/Orchestra, WMS (during school day)
27-28- All-County Band (for those selected in Feb.), Stonewall MS

April
12-Solo and Ensemble Festival, Manassas Park MS (Individual times assigned in April)*

June
5- End of year Band Concert for all band students, WMS, 7:00 PM

*Designates highly recommended but non-required events.
+ 8th Grade students are required to attend one of the marching band nights (WSHS or GFHS) regardless of which high school he/she will attend.
